Badass Badlands to Magnificent Mount Rushmore

Scenic? I agree. You know what isn't, the 300 mile detour that took us from this spot in Badlands National Park to the very bottom of South Dakota via hundreds of sun-parched fields. To label that route 'Scenic' was cruel, but since we were so impressed by the masonary feats of Mount Rushmore, I won't hold a grudge.
